Falke Banner

Time to go visit the manufacturers of injection plastic Ma.K!

WF Pic
WAVE was my first stop, who had on display their entire line-up in the AFS series:
Luna Pawn, MK.I,

WF Pic
Polar Bear and MK.II, soon to be joined by...

WF Pic
... the Night Stalker!
Too cool!

WF Pic
Their latest and very successful release was of course the Snake Eye,
which is also their first in the SAFS-type suits,
and in preparation is the Super Jerry, a NITTO-WAVE Hybrid kit,

WF Pic
of which test-shots were displayed.
Check those clear canopies

WF Pic
WAVE is also in charge of re-issuing kits from the old NITTO molds, which were recovered by Yokoyama-sensei,
under the new brand 3Q Model (pronounced "Thank You Model" in Japanese!).
The packaging adopts the iconic design established by the late Imai-san,
who is officially credited on the boxes, as per Yokoyama-sensei's wish.
The Kauz and the Fliege were the first to benefit from this initiative.

WF Pic
Moving on to the booth of Armor Modeling,
where it is customary to encounter works by Yokoyama-sensei himself and prominent Maschinen contributors!
Not surprisingly, there were many Snake Eyes, including these...

WF Pic
... these...

WF Pic
... this one flanked by the ubiquitous mechanic brothers...

WF Pic
... and sisters?!?!

WF Pic
They appear to be painted test-shots of one of the figures to be released by Hasegawa, who was displaying their Ma.K products at the A.M. booth,

WF Pic
including these.

WF Pic
Here are test-shots of the figure sprues.

WF Pic
The figure set will be loaded with tools and other goodies, including the much needed 1/20 Jerry Cans!

WF Pic
The set is a mix of people working on maintenance and relaxing!

That's it? I want my money back!
I only need resin.
Did I see a Falke?
