February 2010 Japan Visit

The shop master told me that it was his duty to build the models in order to familiarize himself with the kits so he can provide assistance, suggestions and advices to the customers, whenever needed.

Visit
These models give you a good idea of what to expect...

Visit
... as far as shelf space one needs...

Visit
... to display all the models...

Visit
... once they are built.

I couldn't help having a closer look at some of these.

Visit
I seem to recognize their latest P.K.A. G10 in the middle, flanked by a Kauz on the right and a Melusine variant with an alternate engine cover on the left.
A Fliege pilot looks on.

Visit
More P.K.A. G's and a 1/35 Melusine too.

Visit
Amazing digital camo on the Nutrocker, officially renamed Nutcracker, as was intended initially.
This is a 1/35-scale garage kit, built with light-up searchlight and magnetically secured moving parts!

Visit
Another P.K.A. G custom creation.

Visit
Here's a Kröte...

Visit
... and a Gans, both appearing to be straight out of the box.

Visit
This Super Jerry, on the other hand, seems to be rather souped up!

Visit
Here's an interesting Goblin variant.

Visit
Eddy's so amazed, he's lost his stick!

Visit
A.S.F. MK I and MK. II with an open MK. I on the side.

Visit
I believe it is a G-Pawn with a laser pointer arm (!) next to a Luna Pawn.

Visit
A couple of Polar Bear variants.

Visit
Here's a Night Stalker next to an open one.

Visit
Let's have a peek inside.
(Wow, bleached !!!)

Visit
Everyone's favorite Archelon.

Visit
The S.A.F.S was just released by WAVE, so it was only natural to find it all over the place, including here, with variations.
Once the digital camo was displayed on the Nutcracker, someone HAD TO try it on a suit!

Visit
I recall this cute girl figure was an instant sold-out at Wonder Festival.

Visit
This corner is busy with space-type suits,
including Fireball, Fireball SG and Snake-Eye suits.
Notice that the pumpkin is oriented in such a way that it matches the opening of the lid.

Visit
At the back is a Sea Pig with yet another digital camo, remarkably illustrating its effectiveness by altering the perception of the object's true forms.

Visit
The S.A.F.S. kit's sprues...

Visit
... pre-painted!
No, this is not how they come in the box!

Visit
A Großer Hund ready to be painted!

Visit
The gorgeous BRICKWORKS ladies waiting to be...
painted!

Visit
A "classic" Falke!

Visit
Another nice-looking one!

Visit
This one has a custom armament that appears to have a looooong firing range.

Visit
This S.A.F.S. is probably going to end up in space!
Looking forward to seeing it finished!

Visit
A customized Fujimi figure (?) next to a Hornisse, the "mit Gustav" version.

Visit
More space suits, including a Sea Pig, a Fliege and a Kauz.
You can see a Raptor and an A.F.S. MK. II in the background.

Visit
A hover-tank which is a cross between a Königskröte and a Nutcracker!

Well, this is it. If you are in Tokyo, I urge you to visit this shop and buy something so it continues to live!

I've had Enough of your report!
